Wolsey Place Shopping Centre is calling out for ghosts and ghouls, witches and wizards to come down for some Trick or Treating in a safe and secure environment this Halloween.

Ten shops will be displaying pumpkins and if your little ones are brave enough, they can venture in to receive a tasty treat. The free ghostly goings on take place between 11am and 4pm and an experienced face painter will be on hand to turn your darlings into little monsters for the day.

The Eikon Charity Golf Day, sponsored by Petrofac, took place on Friday 26th September 2008. It was held at West Byfleet Golf Club with over 90 people participating. The weather was amazingly sunny and warm as the Tiger Woods wanabees made their way round the 18 hole course. The winning team were 'The Walking Wounded' which included Peter Blay, Terry Jaffreys and Colin Jaffreys.

After the golf came the evening activities which included a presentation from Eikon explaining the nature of the work and from Ellie Southam 19 who told her own story and how Eikon have helped her and many others. Following this came the raffle, the auction and the grand draw. In total over £3,500 were raised towards the work of the charity.

Eikon Director, Chris Hickford said "We are so grateful to Petrofac for sponsoring this event and to West Byfleet Golf Club for hosting it and making us feel so welcome. The whole organising team agreed that this was our best event to date. The golf course was in fabulous condition, the weather superb, the atmosphere throughout the day was really good fun and the participants were amazingly generous. The problem we now have is how we make next year's event even better!

Eikon is a Surrey based charity, which exists to unlock the hidden potential of troubled teenagers.
