A MAN died at Woking Train Station on Friday December 5 after being hit by a train.
Police and ambulance were called to the station just before 3pm.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "We can confirm that a man died after he was struck by a train. The train involved was the 12.20pm Weymouth to London Waterloo rail service."
The incident is being treated as no-suspicious.
Lewis Hamilton was unable to drive his Formula One world championship-winning McLaren car through Woking because security for the event would have cost too much.
Hamilton, who won the title with Woking-based team McLaren in November, was due to share his success with the town's residents at Woking Football Club's Kingfield stadium on December 7.
