A BUDDING young filmmaker who began recording his first film aged nine is finally ready to screen his creation - six years after starting it.
Sam Morgan, 15, of Chertsey Road, Byfleet, first picked up a camcorder in 2003 and has now got a 50-minute film to show for his work. 'Cynthia's Dream' will be screened in the HG Wells Centre in Woking in just over a week, and Sam is hoping to pack the venue for its premiere, which is free.
Police have arrested a man in connection with a hit and run incident in Woking which left a 24-year-old man dead.
Luke Millican, of Hermitage Woods Crescent, St John's, was on foot when he was struck by a vehicle in Hermitage Road, outside The Surrey pub, at 11.55pm, on Friday January 30.
