A pubic meeting about the recession is being held in Chertsey Hall on Thursday May 7.
Entry is free to the hall in Heriot Road, and guests will have the chance to question MP for Runnymede and Weybridge and shadow chief secretary to the treasury, Philip Hammond.
The meeting runs from 7.30pm to 9pm and all are welcome.
On Sunday 19th April local dog trainer, Sarah Godfrey from Pet Necessities Professional Dog Training, provided free dog training advice in Pets at Home, Woking.
Timed to fit with National Pet Month's drive to encourage awareness about responsible pet ownership, Sarah has teamed up with her local PAH stores to help local Surrey residents smile and get their dog's tails wagging.
Officers in West Surrey investigating the armed robbery at the St John's Post Office on 14 February have arrested a 28-year-old man from St Johns.
Acting on intelligence, officers arrested a man at the weekend on suspicion of armed robbery. He is currently on bail until 7 June while inquires continue.
The robbery happened at around 7.30am on Saturday 14 February when a man entered the post office and brandished what appeared to be a knife and a handgun.
