Dozens of outraged pensioners protested on Monday to try and save a popular day centre that faces closure after 22 years.
Staff and customers of the Marjorie Richardson Centre met in Woking town centre at 10am waving banners and signs with the message "save our centre" in an attempt to raise awareness for the cause.

Distraction burglars who stole £100 from an elderly resident are being hunted by Surrey Police.
Officers in Woking investigating the incident, which took place in Horsell last week have issued e-fits of the two suspects. The burglary occured around 10pm on Friday, July 3 in the Ridgeway area.
An elderly resident answered the door to two men, who told him there was an emergency around the corner and asked if they could use his phone. The homeowner agreed to let one of them in, at which point both offenders forced their way into the house and threatened the victim, demanding money and valuables.
A 29-year-old man who had to be talked down from a roof in Woking has admitted throwing tiles and a kitchen knife into the street below.
Daniel Mason, who lives in Dartmouth Avenue, Sheerwater, was charged with possession of a bladed article, using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress, and causing criminal damage.

The incident happened on the Broadway, Woking around 3.20am on Sunday, August 2, when the man was approached by a gang of 10 men who dragged him into the road and assaulted him, leaving him with a serious injury to his left ear.
Police officers on patrol in the town responded to a 999 call within minutes and arrested two suspects in White Rose Lane. Both men have been released on police bail, due to return to Woking Police Station on October 4.
